After an initial look around the hall, have nipped outside for air and
coffee. As ever, cosplayers are out in force.

All hail! The long desired solution to the limited nature of the Wii’s internal 512MB storage is with us! But then you all know by now, of course, that the latest Wii system update now allows for Wii Ware / Virtual Console games to be downloaded directly to and loaded from SD cards. I also need not repeat to you that the Wii now also supports SDHC cards which means up to 32GB of storage compared to the 2GB limit of standard SD.
Right.. that aside.. how well does this actually work? Llylat Wars was already on my SD card so load away I did! Well… attempted to at least but alas not enough space on the internal memory to load it. So the game / channel is loaded from the SD to the internal memory for running. Clunky yes but still beats a proprietary Wii USB hard drive cost-wise. So now I’m loading all my downloaded content to the SD Card.
This may take a few moments… bear with me… Continue Reading

Happy new year to you all. I hope everybody had a great time last year, and may the new one bring you happiness and may your wishes go fulfilled. I will be finishing my course within the next 3 weeks so expect more frequent updates from Febuary onwards with any luck.
Once again happy new year to you all,

Hi,
This is Tiggs, the latest recruit to the iCookies team. Brought on board at the London Expo, so i figured I ought to add my introduction out into the ether.
I’m into a bit of everything. Sci Fi, Anime, Fantasy, TV, Games, Books, Music. So I’ll probably be chipping in here and there with the odd review or random thought-bubble.
I also am a big fan of podcasts, as they pretty much keep me sane during the daily commute to work. So I shall be mentioning a few of my favourites and, where available, posting up promos and clips.

There are lots more photos now up on the shiny new iCookies gallery
Please forgive the default-theme of the gallery at the moment, was a busy weekend so getting the gallery installed was as far as I got (but I figure that’s an important thing to have done!)
So all of you who got a card from us and told your photos would be online.. here they are! Have a rummage, there’s 5 pages of pics on the gallery but each and every person we gave a card to is on there somewhere. For your archiving pleasure the full size 7megapixel images are there for download too. Also if anyone wants a copy of their photo without the iCookies wording along the bottom drop us a line with the name of the photo and I’ll email you a clean copy. If anyone fancies drop a comment on the site here to say hi so we know someone’s watching
Enjoy the gallery and stick around, this week we’re aiming to get a forum, maybe a facebook account (for those who are interetsed) and a YouTube account alive for iCookies along with some updates we’re writting. Also stay tuned for a hands-on review of the T-Mobile G1 Google Phone on Friday.

The photos’s from today for all those who we photographed today should be online by Monday evening all being well, will do my best to get them up on time! Will let you all know if they’re going to be delayed.
Today’s reminded me of the fun of getting together with many anime fans so will be planning a con or two next year
In the mean time keep an eye on iCookies for updates, we shall make them often as we can (bear with us as we start though
).
Now to find a cold beer before starting back home methinks

Yo! I’m the ninja-pirate-catboy known as Maku-neko, creator of AutomaticFreestyle.co.uk
As I’m a multi-class character, I’ll be covering lots of different things here on the awesome iCookies. I guess I’ll end up mostly focusing on the anime and manga side of things, or just whatever takes my fancy at the time.
That’ll do for a quick intro I think, maybe we’ll make some full profiles later.
We got some great stuff in the works so keep checking back everyone ^_^
